In 2014, Coast Guard personnel were assigned to a unit in Saudi Arabia made up of personnel from different branches of the services, the Maritime Infrastructure Protection Force, Training and Advisory Group (MIPF-TAG). Their patch was heavily influenced by Army standards, with little ID except the graphic logo for MIPF-TAG.
